Little character design exercise…. I designed Souji and Yosuke’s parents!
I imagine they both have pretty dysfunctional families, so for Souji’s I tried to keep in mind coldness in appearance (to contrast Souji’s warm personality), and also the idea that they would be really intimidating, and purely business to a robotic/alien level.
And for Yosuke’s parents I thought about portraying plainness in a way that wasn’t inviting—parents who try to be normal and happy when they aren’t.
